Vince Zampella, the mind behind the globally famous franchise Call of Duty, has died in a car accident in California at the age of 55.
His passing was confirmed by Electronic Arts, the publisher that controls Respawn Entertainment, the development studio he co-founded.
The influential industry figure died after his automobile collided and burst into flames on a motorway in Los Angeles on Sunday morning, according to.
