Defiant Nancy insists he is not worried about the sack yet the Parkhead faithful show wrath following defeat.
The under-pressure manager stated he was not afraid of dismissal, claiming, “We are extremely close to changing our fortunes,” in the wake of sliding worryingly close to the exit with a comprehensive loss to the Ibrox side.

Nancy remains focused on the fact Celtic play well for one half at a time. Indeed, if not for poor finishing they could have been greater than 1-0 up. “The performance had merit other than the fact that we haven’t scored more goals,” he said. “I know that we lost, but I have also to be balanced.
“The standard we had at times was of top quality. That happened. And I would not say that if it was untrue. That is the reason, in terms of results, I mentioned we've seen this before. That’s why I believe we are nearly there to getting it right. But for the moment: small things.”
“I saw plenty of positives that we did, as was the case today. However it’s about consistency. My outlook would be different if I didn't believe it. That’s why I firmly believe we will manage to get back on track.”
Opposition Reaction Stance
The victorious boss refused to contemplate a title charge despite what felt like a statement victory. “We take it game by game, so we can gradually build something here,” he said. “The faith in the team is immense.”
